Membership Levels & Fees

Affiliate

Entry level for individuals with less than 5 years’ experience in the metal-based roofing and cladding sector. Affiliates should have a minimum entry level of National Vocational Qualification (NVQ) Level 2 or equivalent and should be working towards a minimum NVQ Level 3 award for progression within the industry.

Minimum Qualifications

Intermediate Apprenticeship
BTEC First Diploma or Certificate

Associate
Associates shall have at least 5 years’ experience in the metal-based roofing and cladding sector and have the necessary National Vocational Qualification (NVQ) or past historic equivalent qualification to at least NVQ Level 3 in a roofing related discipline.

Advanced Apprenticeship
BTEC National

Member

Members shall have at least 10 years’ experience in the metal-based roofing and cladding sector and have the necessary National Vocational Qualification (NVQ) or past historic equivalent qualification to at least NVQ Level 4 in a roofing related discipline.

 Certificate of Higher Education (Cert HE)
High National Certificate (HNC)
BTEC Higher National

Fellow

Fellowship of the Institute may be awarded by the Board to individuals who have rendered outstanding service to the industry and who are already holders of the grade of Member (MMCRI) or shall be current or recent past Fellow of a recognised industry body or institute.

Annual membership £75+VAT invoiced 1 st September

Associate (AMCRI)
Annual membership £135+VAT invoiced 1 st September

Member (MMCFR)
Annual membership £149+VAT invoiced 1 st September

Fellow (FMCRI)
Annual membership £199+VAT invoiced 1 st September

Approved memberships commencing between 1 September and 28 February will be subject to the full membership fee.
Approved memberships commencing 1 March to 31 August will be subject to 50% of the membership fee.

Membership Upgrades
If you choose to upgrade your membership level, you will need to submit a new application form, completing all necessary sections and providing evidence of the required
qualifications.

If an upgrade is approved, you will be required to pay the fee difference at any point during the membership year.
